Adapting to Change

Over the last 18 months we have experienced phenomenal change in all our lives due to the Covid-19 pandemic. However not all change is or should be seen as negative.

In this new world, there is no “New Normal”, we are now living in a world of constant change.

Charles Darwin’s quote was never as appropriate as it is today, “It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent that survives. It is the one that is most adaptable to change.”

Changing away from what we know takes us out of our comfort zone and into a learning zone that can feel very disruptive, upsetting for the team, and often with very little success. However, if change is managed in the correct way, this can be avoided.

We look at how we can overcome this by executing change with speed and purpose with as little pain as possible.

We look at what it takes to build a culture of change into a business so that as a team, innovation is a continuous cycle as we embrace this world of constant change.

The greatest and most sustainable successes are not arrived at by making one or two changes but more like hundreds of small adjustments that combined bring a business to a new level. I will share a technique which allows you to identify literally hundreds of changes that can be made in your business.

We will also see how to approach a significant single change project so that the change can be embedded successfully and as quickly as possible to as to avoid as much disruption as possible.
